April 2024 BOCC Afternoon Edition

Join the BOCC community for our second Afternoon Edition. 730 AM is a little early for some, so this is a great opportunity to meet our amazing attendees a little later in the day. Please join us in the Wilson Town Square at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum at 1 PM on Sunday April 21st. You do not need a ticket to the Buffalo AKG to access this space, but the museum is open until 5 PM the day of the event. It is the one of the last days to see the temporary exhibition Narsiso Martinez: From These Hands/De Estas Manos which leaves the gallery the next day.

1. We will have coffee and pastries available at the event. Additional food/beverages are available for purchase from the Cornelia resturant, located right next to the Wilson Town Square
2. Parking is free on Lincoln Pkwy, and a paid covered garage is available on site
3. The Buffalo AKG is serviced by Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) bus line 20, with stations northbound and southbound at Elmwood Avenue and Rockwell Road,  directly in front of the museum.

5. The Creative Commons a free, active space for ages five and up, is attached to the Wilson Court. It was created in partnership with the LEGO Foundation, and offers an innovative blend of art, artmaking, and technology links your creativity to the collection through joyful, artwork-centered play.
