What to Expect
7:30 AM – Open Networking. Grab a coffee or tea (free!), pick up a name tag, and introduce yourself. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, everyone is welcome to jump into a conversation.
8:10 AM – Gives and Asks. This is how we keep the community moving forward together. Sign up to share a “give” – a resource, expertise, or connection you can offer – and an “ask” – something you need help with. It’s quick (20-30 seconds) and completely optional. First time? Just say so and the room will welcome you. We ask that gives come before asks, and that this is not a time for sales pitches.
8:30 AM – No hard out. Some people head to the office, others stick around to co-work or keep the conversation going. The lobby has tables and community Wi-Fi.
Tips: Bring business cards. Name tags are provided and encouraged. Come ready to meet people, not to sell – hard pitching is not what BOCC is about.
Getting Here
We meet upstairs in the Seneca One lobby by Tellers bar. Enter through either Seneca St entrance and take the escalator up (elevator access is located behind the escalators from either entrance). Free coffee and tea are provided.
Parking: Street parking is free before 9 AM. Hourly garages and surface lots are also available nearby. The Metro Rail stop is right at the building. See Seneca One’s parking and directions page for full details.
